School Safety Reminder from CISD
Published: Mon, Mar 5, 2018, 08:47PM CST

Coppell ISD takes school safety very seriously. The health, safety, and well-being of our students and staff always will remain the district’s highest priority. In light of these recent trying times, the district asks that the lines of communication remain open with our students, as well as with our teachers, staff and administrators. As we continue to look out for each other and keep, “If you see something; say something,” in mind; we remind you that CISD has an anonymous tip line available online by clicking here or by calling 972-436-TIPS (8477).
As always, 911 should be the first call in any emergency situation.
School counselors are available should students need any additional support. School principals and associate/assistant principals also are sources to share concerns. If you are looking for resources on how to talk to your children about the recent school shooting or other tough topics that may be on your mind here is a website that can provide you tools & advice by clicking here

Angst Documentary at CHS March 29
CISD is presenting the movie Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, March 29, in the Coppell High School Auditorium. The film features candid interviews with kids and young adults who suffer, or have suffered, from anxiety and what they’ve learned about it. The film includes discussions with mental health experts about the causes of anxiety and its sociological effects, as well as help, resources and tools. Parents and students ages ten and up are invited to attend.
By opening a dialogue and normalizing (not trivializing) anxiety, we can help each other and ourselves. Find out more information by clicking here
