We're excited to start planning an unforgettable carnival for our kids, set for February 1st! To make it a success, we need your help! Thank you to the parents that have already joined and we are looking for a few more passionate, enthusiastic parents to join our Carnival Committee. Your support would mean the world to our students and staff, and it’s a great way to meet other parents and make a difference!
What is the Lakeside Carnival?
The Lakeside Carnival is an exciting family event held on a Saturday, where we transform our school into a fun-filled festival for all ages! Many of our classrooms turn into carnival game rooms, with favorites like Toilet Paper Toss, Plinko, Spin the Wacky Wheel, Putt-Putt, and Longhorn Lasso. We also offer unique activities like a Cake Walk, Dance Party, Hair Salon, Wrist Cast station, and more! In the gym, you’ll find a bounce house and other large-scale games, while our cafeteria becomes a hub for food and live performances from across Coppell.
It's a magical day for our Longhorns—and we need your help to make it happen! Please consider volunteering to bring the magic to life! We're currently seeking additional committee members for:
- Food – Coordinate with vendors; manage concessions and volunteers.
- Silent Auction – Gather exciting auction items and help set up a fabulous on-line auction experience.
- Games/Prizes – Curate prizes, manage supplies, and coordinate with volunteers to keep games running smoothly!
- Volunteer Committee – Organize and support our incredible volunteers on the big day!
- Tickets – Manage ticket sales and make sure everyone’s ready to join the fun!
If you're interested in joining the fun, please click HERE to sign up. Let's make this carnival one to remember for our kids!
Carnival Committees will meet the week of November 18th to get started talking about their individual tasks and figuring out what needs to be done. Please come and see how you would like to help and what fits you best to help out!
